A jury on Wednesday (Aug. 24) ordered Los Angeles County to pay $31 million in damages over photos taken by rescue workers of the helicopter crash that killed basketball superstar Kobe Bryant as well as her daughter.
The county will have to pay $ 16 million to Vanessa Bryant, widow of the legend of Los Angeles Lakers, and 15 million to Chris Chester, who had lost his wife and daughter in the accident in January 2020.
