The 14th edition of Manifesta, the biennial of nomadic art, is being held until October 30 in Kosovo, in the Balkans so close to Ukraine at war.
Its director and founder, the Dutch Hedwig Fijen, has moreover, since the inauguration of this amazing “Prishtina 2022” edition, that the one to come in 2028 would take place in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Kosovo serves as a field of study and its 100 days bring great hopes to a land still scarred by inter-ethnic war.
As always, from Palermo (2018) to Marseille (2020), from Luxembourg (1998) to Zurich (2016), it is a question of promoting a place, a city, a scene in a different way, by putting artists at the heart historical, architectural and urban heritage.
The next Manifesta will take place in Barcelona in 2024.
