23 people were killed and dozens were injured during violent clashes that erupted between two armed groups in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.

Clashes erupted yesterday between two armed groups, during which a heavy exchange of fire with medium and heavy weapons and shells fell on a number of neighborhoods in Al-Zawiya Street and Bab Bin Ghashir area, which led to the burning of shops, cars and houses, causing a number of injuries.

Libya has witnessed a state of security and political instability since the NATO aggression against it in 2011, where armed militias and terrorist organizations have spread, creating a state of chaos and insecurity in many areas.
