The Sudanese suspected of having killed a compatriot with a knife and seriously injured another, Sunday in Niort, was indicted for murder and attempted murder, AFP learned Tuesday evening August 30 from the prosecutor's office in Poitiers.
The facts took place around 8:00 p.m. near a very lively square in the center of Niort, during a game of cards between members of a community of Sudanese origin.
During an altercation between the participants, the motives of which remain unknown, one of them, aged 42, stabbed a 32-year-old man, who managed to flee but had to be hospitalized in Niort in serious condition.

In front of dozens of witnesses, the suspect then stabbed a second compatriot, aged 29, who died of his injuries.
