Victory against master Magdeburg: Kiel wins Supercup

THW Kiel has won the Handball Supercup.

The DHB Cup winner prevailed on Wednesday in Düsseldorf against the German champions SC Magdeburg with 36:33 (16:16).

For the THW it was the twelfth triumph in the competition, which has been held since 1994.

In front of 5900 spectators, Nikola Bilyk was the winner's best thrower with eight goals.

Omar Ingi Magnussen scored six times for Magdeburg.
