(ANSA) - BARI, 03 SEPT - The 20 year old Andrea Gaeta, son of the alleged boss Francesco, was killed with a few gunshots last night in via Saragat in Orta Nova, in Foggia.
Gaeta, who had a minor criminal record, was driving his car when he was killed.
At the moment the investigators would rule out the hypothesis of a settlement of accounts in the field of organized crime.
It would appear that the person responsible for the murder has already been identified.
The carabinieri were warned by an anonymous phone call.
The victim's body was in his car, on the driver's seat, in the industrial area of Orta Nova.
The carabinieri recovered five shells from a small caliber pistol on the asphalt.
Andrea Gaeta was shot in the side and chest.
During the night the military listened to a dozen people close to the victim to try to reconstruct the last moments of the young man's life.
