Big surprise: Maccabi Haifa's youth team recorded a big victory today (Tuesday), when they beat Benfica 0:1 in the first round of the under-19 Champions League.
Striker Sapir Razon scored the winning goal in the 14th minute, after a great move by Hamza Shively - which he cooked for him.
Haifa, who finished last season's youth league in fifth place in the table, recorded a great victory in the first round - against the reigning European youth champion.
Masai Dago, the new coach, is already making a huge "V" in the tournament.
The next game, at the same time as the group stage of the senior team, will take place against Paris Saint-Germain in Haifa.
