Primoz Roglic will not be able to play poker in the Vuelta di Spagna, after the three titles won consecutively in the last three editions.
The 77th edition of the stage race, therefore, will have another master on Sunday in Madrid.
The Slovenian was forced to retire after the crash in the final of yesterday's stage: Roglic had taken the attack 3 kilometers from the finish, dragging four other riders behind him.
In the final sprint, however, he hit a wheel and landed at high speed, injuring his elbow and left side.
