"Assassin's Creed Mirage" is the title of the next part.

Ubisoft has revealed a first trailer, but no release date yet.

A leak recently revealed many details about the next "Assassin's Creed".

As part of the Ubisoft Forward event on September 10th, the French company confirmed numerous details – the first trailer has also now appeared.

The protagonist is Basim, who appeared in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

In Assassin's Creed Mirage, players will control him.

What else is known about the game?

Assassin's Creed Mirage is coming in 2023

According to Ubisoft, the release of "Assassin's Creed Mirage" is planned for next year.

However, it is still completely unclear when exactly the game will be released.

The developers have not yet announced a specific date.

Assassin's Creed Mirage will be available on the latest platforms, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is set in Baghdad in the 9th century.

The action takes place some twenty years before Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Basim's first encounter with Eivor and the Vikings.

In terms of gameplay, the developers promise a return to the series' origins - that is, less fighting, more sneaking.

Scenes from the game have not yet been shown.

The trailer is just a ready-made video that captures the mood of the setting.

Although the game is set in an open world, it will be far more linear and compact than the last parts.

The duration of the main campaign will be around 15-20 hours of gameplay, and there will be no sections in the present.

Many more Assassin's Creed games announced

Ubisoft has also announced many other games, but so far only revealed the working titles.

For fans, "Assassin's Creed Codename RED" is particularly exciting because it moves the setting to the desired feudal Japan.

Also on the agenda are CODENAME HEXE, CODENAME INFINITY, CODENAME JADE and a game being developed exclusively for Netflix.

When all these titles will be released is still unclear at this point in time.
