The photo was taken in Scotland, in the grounds of the Balmoral residence where the queen died at 96 years old.

The queen is not forgotten.

After the historic funeral of Elizabeth II, which brought together hundreds of guests and thousands of people in the streets of London and Windsor, the British royal family published late Monday evening a new photo on social networks.

'May flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest.'

As a comment, a sentence from "Hamlet", which King Charles III had already pronounced during his speech, the day after his mother's death: "May flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest", which we can be translated as "let flights of angels sing for your rest".

Below the quote from William Shakespeare is added a simple: "In sweet remembrance of Her Majesty the Queen."

Elizabeth II never hid her love for nature and she was often immortalized roaming the countryside on foot or on horseback.

The Scottish residence of Balmoral where the photo was taken - a private residence, which belonged to his family - was also known to be his favorite.

She spent all those summers there and even held part of her honeymoon there with Prince Philip.

It is there, too, that she died, at the age of 96, on September 8th.
