Lizzo with historical flute: »We made history today!«

The US musician Lizzo played a special instrument at a concert in Washington: a glass flute that was made in 1813 for the then US President James Madison.
The pop singer and classically trained flutist previously visited the National Library in the US capital, the Library of Congress said.
The largest flute collection in the world is stored there with around 1700 instruments.
The library invited Lizzo to visit them before her concert in Washington, director Carla Hayden said.
The musician visited the collection and played, among other things, the flute made by a French instrument maker for President Madison.
Later, the singer had the special piece brought to the stage of her concert.
"I'm scared," she admitted to her fans.
"It's glass, it's like playing a wine glass." After trilling out a few notes, Lizzo exclaimed, "We made history today!"
