Thrilling car accident in Mong Kok.
Yesterday (13th) at about 6 pm, a motorcycle and a taxi collided at the intersection of Nathan Road and Mong Kok Road.
The police said that the 24-year-old Iron Knight suffered waist injuries and bruises in the accident, and was taken to Guanghua Hospital by ambulance for treatment; the male driver, surnamed Huang (62), was not injured.
Police are now investigating the cause of the crash.
According to the online car cam clip, the motorcycle was traveling along Nathan Road towards Sham Shui Po, where the traffic light just turned green; while the taxi was traveling east along Mong Kok Road, the direction just turned red.
It can be seen in the film that the taxi was suspected of rushing to the light and did not stop. As soon as the iron knight drove to the intersection, he was hit by the taxi in the middle, and then the car rolled over.
The motorcycle "Spinning White Pigeon" skidded several meters in front, and the iron knight also flew several meters. He fell down in the center of the road for a while, but he was able to sit up on his own after that, took off his helmet and stood up.
