Atp Florence: 6-4 6-4 in Wolf, Auger-Aliassime wins

In the double dominates the French couple with Mahut and Roger-Vasellin (ANSA)  The 22-year-old Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime won the final of the Unicredit Firenze Open ATP 250 tournament by beating the American Jeffrey John Wolf with a score of 6-4 6-4. In both sets, a break in favor of the number one seeded in the tournament and number 13 in the world was enough to take the game home. For Auger-Aliassime this is the second title won in his career out of 11 finals played.

For Wolf it was the first career final.


    The final of the doubles tournament held previously had been won by the French couple formed by Mahut and Roger-Vasselin on Dodig (Croatia) and Krajicek (USA), with a score of 7-6 6-3.

After a very close first set and ended at the tie break, the French down 1-3 in the second have struck five consecutive games and went on to win the match.
