Washington, SANA- The Polish world number one, Iga Šwienetek, this morning qualified for the final of the San Diego Championships.

Polish world number one Iga Šviontik qualified for the San Diego Open women's final this morning, by defeating sixth seed Jessica Pegula of the United States.

Sviñatek managed to defeat Pegula by two sets to one, with a score of 4/6, 6/2, 6/2 in two hours and 6 minutes.

Šviontik will face the first candidate for the title in the final of the 500-point tournament, the winner of the semi-final match, which brings together 19th-ranked American Danielle Collins and 77th-ranked Croatian Donna Vekic. 4/6, 6/4 and 4/2 after two hours and 29 minutes.
