Now it's official: Nir Kaliger was fired this evening (Sunday) from Hapoel Haifa.

The decision was made after a meeting held between the coach and the owner, Yoav Katz, at the end of which the parties decided on a mutual separation.

In an official statement on behalf of the club it was stated: "The owners Yoav Katz and Nir Kliger talked a little while ago and reached a joint decision with Frida."

Yoav Katz said: "I thank Nir Klinger for his hard work and investment for the success of Hapoel Haifa and for the many moments of happiness he brought to us and to the fans of the team he led to winning the State Cup, the Super Cup and the Toto Cup and winning derby games. I wish Nir the best of luck in the future."

The club started talks with Roni Levy and Kobi Yaropa.

With Levy there was already a desire to move forward, he asked for a coach's wealth and was answered in the affirmative.

Eric Bando, who was his assistant at Hapoel BS, received an application, but at this stage he prefers to wait for other offers.
