"Iran arrested ten agents who worked for Israel," the Iranian news agency Fars reports.
According to the report, the ten were arrested in West Azerbaijan province.
According to the agency, which is affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, the ten were in video contact with Mossad officers.
This is not the first time that Tehran announces the arrest of Mossad agents.
In April of this year, the Islamic Republic announced that it had arrested three spies.
The three, it was reported, were arrested in a special operation of the prosecution in the provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan in the east of the country.
