After the great evenings we had in the Champions League, tonight (Thursday) the fifth round took place within the European League with quite a few interesting games.
The one who stole the show, at least for the Israeli audience, is Omri Altman who scored a great brace, including a tremendous goal in the barbershop and helped his team AK Larnaca to finish 3:3 against Dynamo Kyiv and get the place in the Conference League.
Altman, who was called up to the Israeli national team at the last conference, will hope to continue this ability and be a significant factor in the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.
Arsenal, who lead the Premier League, stumbled in the Netherlands when they lost 2:0 to PSV Eindhoven and have not yet secured first place in Group A.
Joey Firmman (56) and Luke de Jong (63) scored twice in seven minutes and closed a story for the host.
Roma, who got into quite a bit of trouble at home, managed to get a very important 1:2 victory in Hlinski over H.I.K.
Goals by Tami Avraham and myself by Arto Hoskonen gave the Giallorossi important points and they will depend on themselves in the final round when they host the Bulgarian Ludogorets, who have the same number of points (7).

Manchester United won 0:3 at Old Trafford against Sheriff Tiraspol.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who returned to training this week after being suspended by Erik ten Haag, scored the third and it seems that, at least in this enterprise, he manages to maintain a good ability.
Ronaldo's teammate Diego Dalot and Marcus Rashford also scored for the Red Devils.
