The OQTF is a double trigger decision.
First, a foreigner in an irregular situation subject to an OQTF is invited to leave the territory within thirty days.
Except for marginal exceptions, in the event of public order disturbances.
Then, only if the foreigner does not leave the territory within this period, it is possible to arrest him and place him in a detention center, then to remove him by force.
The decision to list the OQTFs in the FPR is a good decision.
In the past, moreover, before the creation of the OQTFs in 2006, the prefects issued deportation orders to the border, and these orders were systematically registered with the RPF.
What the Minister is announcing, notwithstanding the dual nature of the OQTF, comes down to this practice...
