Ice season in Fürstenfeldbruck starts on November 5th

The low outside temperatures, especially at night, now make it possible to prepare the ice in the AmperOase stadium.

Fürstenfeldbruck - The low outside temperatures, especially at night, now make it possible to prepare the ice in the AmperOase stadium, according to the municipal utilities.

On Saturday, November 5th, the ice surface should then be prepared for the public run and for the clubs.

The ice skating season is planned to last until the beginning of March 2023, provided the weather conditions are right.

"In the past few days and nights, the ice surface has been continuously built up layer by layer, colored and then lines have been added," explains Michael Janka, team leader for technology in the AmperOase, the procedure in the ice rink.

“Now we have achieved a five to six centimeter thick layer of ice and can start operation.

Earlier ice preparation was not realistic due to the warm weather conditions - we are all the more pleased to be able to open the stadium doors for the first public run on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.".

Free admission to the public run

Following tradition, children and young people can enter the ice free of charge during the first public run on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

For the others, the following admission prices apply for the 2022 / 2023 season: Single ticket adults €4.70, children/youth €3, visitor ticket €1.30

Ice disco dates

The ice disco takes place on three dates: December 10th from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, January 14th from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, February 11th from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
