After his comeback, Manuel Neuer left no doubt about his participation in the World Cup.

"Yes, of course," answered the German national keeper after his return to FC Bayern Munich when asked by the broadcaster Sky whether he was sure to be there in Qatar - and laughed.

Berlin - "They're keeping it a secret, let's wait and see," he said about the forthcoming official nomination of the 26-strong squad by national coach Hansi Flick next Thursday.

Neuer was back in goal for the first time after a four-week injury break.

The 36-year-old conceded two goals in the first half in Bayern's 3-2 win at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.

"I'm glad to be back.

Of course, I would have preferred a clean sheet.

But there was also a bit of excitement for the spectators," said Neuer.

"I can do everything"

He was sidelined with a shoulder injury and missed a total of seven games.

However, because he also got something to do, he was relatively quick in the game, said Neuer.

"That's why I was actually immediately on fire again." Here and there I pinched my shoulder again, but that's quite clear.

He feels very good about himself.

"I can do everything.

I was able to do everything in training and had no problems at all, and it wasn't a problem today, either,” said Neuer.
