the national initiative for the creation and strengthening of school libraries that will continue until November 13 , starts

on November 5th,

23,240 schools, 250 infant-toddler centers and 3,275 bookstores .

    Organized and promoted by

the Italian Publishers Association (AIE),

the event is organized with the support of the Ministry for Culture, Education, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Cariplo Foundation and Siae.


To support the initiative, schools, nurseries, bookstores, but also exceptional testimonials such as the ambassador

Sofia Goggia

and the soccer players of the Ferrovie dello Stato Italian Women's Super Cup.

On Saturday 5 November at 2.30 pm the captains of the Juventus and Roma teams and the girls accompanying them will take to the field in Parma with a book by # ioleggoperché to remind everyone that the donation week has begun.

The same will also be true for men's football in the Serie A league matches over the weekend.


   The tam-tam for donations will be heard, as well as on the new tik-tok channel, on the whole network: from Saturday 5 November all those involved will be invited to support the campaign on their social profiles, sharing and disseminating as much as possible the messages.


A specific commercial broadcast will also be launched on all television networks.

In addition to the passages on television and radio of testimonials and supporters, the exhortation to donate books in support of

# ioleggoperché

will also continue in the episode broadcast on Thursday 10 November of 'Un posto al sole', on Rai 3: Jimmy, one of the protagonists of the series, he will talk about it with his grandfather, telling him that with the teacher and together with his classmates he has prepared a list of books they would like in their school library.
