The assistant coach, who managed the four games after the departure of Steve Nash, will continue to coach Kevin Durant and his teammates, who started the season with a negative balance

Just a week and a half ago, Steve Nash was fired from the Brooklyn Nets, and tonight (Wednesday) one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference appointed Jacques Vaughn as the head coach after the latter managed the games since the Canadian's departure.

Vaughn, who has a record of two wins and two losses since replacing Nash, will now try to lead the team to a slightly more promising period after the Nets have a negative 7:4 record so far.

General Manager Shawn Marks announced the appointment: "Jacques Vaughn's deep familiarity with our team makes him the best candidate to lead us in the future. He can get the best out of our players and play basketball that puts the team first."

As I recall, the person who was supposed to coach the Nets was Ima Yudoka, who was suspended by Boston, but following pressure from the media to change the decision, it was decided to make a U-turn and leave Yudoka out of the name exchange.
