Jake Tapper asked Mike Pence about the "elephant in the room" if he would support Donald Trump's new presidential aspirations, as he kicked off the CNN Forum with former US vice president.
Pence said that "people want to go back to the policies of the Trump-Pence administration" but that "Americans want new leadership."
Pressed by Tapper on whether he would back Trump if he turns out to be the Republican nominee in 2024, Pence said only that "there may be someone else" without specifying names.
