If there is any truth to the report published this evening (Monday) in "Marka", the Israeli fans who flew to the World Cup games in Qatar should also be worried: the Spanish website claims that many spectators who attended today's game between Senegal and the Netherlands entered the Al Thomama stadium for free and without presenting tickets.
The scandal was allegedly caused by a computer malfunction that caused the collapse of the bar code checking system at the entrances to the stadium, which allowed many fans to enter only by presenting Hayya - that is, the special visa for Qatar, which can be issued with the purchase of a ticket for at least one of the 64 matches in the World Cup.
It was also written in "Marka" that some of the audience entered without even presenting any kind of permit, when it was enough to push the "roundabouts", and inside the stadium there was no supervision of the seating positions.
At the beginning of the game, you could see surprisingly empty seats in the stands, but the seats became more and more occupied as time went by - it appears that the technical fault was the one that led to this.
