Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Idan Nahmias was operated on his knee this morning (Wednesday) by the director of the sports injuries unit and team doctor Dr. Dror Lindner, Dr. Moshe Dahan and Dr. Ron Gilat at the Shamir Medical Center at Assaf Harofeh Hospital. He is undergoing surgery to reconstruct the torn ligament, after he tore the cruciate ligament in the last Toto Cup game against Hapoel Jerusalem.
The club said: "Idan will now begin the rehabilitation process within the club and we all wish him a speedy recovery."
