Trade volume between China's Ningxia region and Middle East countries rose 72 percent year-on-year in 11 months.
Xinhua quoted the Ningxia Customs Authority as saying: The total foreign trade of the Ningxia region with countries in the Middle East region amounted to 970 million yuan, equivalent to about $139 million, and exports amounted to 920 million yuan, an increase of 70.3 percent year-on-year.
Ningxia and the Middle East countries enjoy complementarity in foreign trade, with industries such as chemical fiber, photovoltaic energy and chemical product manufacturing becoming new opportunities for Ningxia's exports to the Middle East.
