(ANSA) - TRIESTE, DECEMBER 31 - One person died and two others - one of whom was a minor - were intoxicated in a fire that broke out last night in a community for boys in Santa Caterina di Pasian di Prato (Udine).
One of the two injured is a 16-year-old boy who was flown to the burn center in Verona.
His conditions are serious.
The fire broke out around 2.30 due to causes still under investigation by the Fire Brigade, alerted by the Regional Health Emergency Operations Structure (Sores).
The Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Udine and the Police of the Udine Police Headquarters also operate on site.
The victim is a minor, an Albanian citizen, while the other young man injured and taken to Verona, in very serious conditions, is of Ghanaian nationality.
ANSA learns it from the Udine provincial command of the fire brigade.
The second injured is not in serious condition and is hospitalized in the Santa Maria della Misericordia hospital in Udine.
He would be an operator of the facility, an adult, who reportedly suffered burns in various parts of the body.
In the meantime, the fire has been completely tamed and is under control.
