The research data shows that the number of establishments has grown above all in central and southern Italy, regions where there has been a +4% (from 2020 to today) and which are ahead of both the north-west (+2%) both in the north-east (+1%).

In the various areas of the Italian territory there are specific nuances: bars are more widespread in Lombardy (18,688) than in Abruzzo (2,820), while restaurants have recorded an increase in new openings especially in Lazio (18,600) and Abruzzo ( 4.407).
