Vladimir Rogov, head of the “We are with Russia” movement, announced that the Ukrainian forces had stopped bombing civilian targets in the Zaporozhye region as a result of the successful actions of the Russian forces on the contact line.
The TASS news agency quoted Rogov as saying today that the main successes are being achieved in the Zaporozhye axis, where the Ukrainian forces have been expelled from the entire first line of defense and to a large extent even the second and third lines.
The Russian Defense Ministry said yesterday that during the offensive operations of units of the Eastern Military District, the city of Lubkov in the Zaporozhye region was liberated, and the village of Kamensky, 25 kilometers from the Kyiv-controlled city of Zaporozhye, was also liberated.
