Mexico deported 91 migrant children and adolescents to Guatemala on Tuesday.

This group included 28 minors found in a container in Ciudad Juárez on January 27, when they were en route to the United States border.

In total, there were 64 men and 22 women traveling without any adult companion, added to another five children who were accompanied by a relative, said the Guatemalan Institute of Migration (IGM).

Upon arriving at the immigration facilities, the minors were received by a group of mimes who tried, without much success, to cheer them up.

For the moment, the minors will be transferred to state homes pending the determination of the situation in their families.

Another 28 minors who have been located in Ciudad Juárez could join the group to be deported on Thursday.
