Russia called on the UN Security Council to hold a session dedicated to discussing new information about the bombing of the “Northern Stream” gas pipelines.
The Russian Novosti agency quoted Russia’s deputy representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, as saying on Telegram today that in light of the new information related to the bombing of the “Northern Stream” gas pipeline, we have requested a meeting of the UN Security Council on the 22nd of this month.
The American investigative journalist, Seymour Hersh, confirmed earlier that the United States was responsible for the bombing of the two Russian gas pipelines, North Stream 1 and North Stream 2, in the Baltic Sea in September last year.
