This was established by a precautionary order issued by the Court of Venice on 17 November - made known by La Nuova Venezia and Repubblica - following an appeal by the Venetian Galleries advanced in 2020. Ravensburger must also pay a penalty of 1,500 euros in



    favor of the Ministry of Culture, for each day of delay in the execution of the ordinance.



    This is not the first provision of its kind to protect Italian artistic images:



    However, it is the first time that a non-Italian company has been convicted, also in relation to commercial sites whose headquarters cannot be located in Italy.
