A new educational project has been launched in Or Yehuda where the students of the city's schools meet once a month at the mayor's office to talk about initiatives and ideas for implementation

A new and unique venture was launched for the first time called "The Mayor's Class".

This is a project in which 20 students from elementary schools, middle schools and high schools take part.

As part of the project, the students meet with the mayor in her office once a month and raise topics of their choice for joint discussion.

The project encourages students to use their natural curiosity to develop social and educational initiatives.

At the first meeting that took place recently, the students presented to the mayor initiatives they are promoting in their school to deal with issues such as online protection, boycotts, shaming, promoting respectful discourse, and more.

These wonderful initiatives will be presented at a strategic evening for innovation in education that will take place on 3/26.

A visit to Google's offices is also planned for the students to learn about value-based digital innovation at the end of the year.
