(ANSA) - BERLIN, MARCH 16 - "We are a liberal democracy and we will remain so".
This was stated by the Israeli premier, Benyamin Netanyahu, in a press conference with Olaf Scholz in the chancellery in Berlin.
"Israeli democracy is strong and alive and we will not retreat an inch on this," he added.
"There are criticisms of justice reform. But they are not fair. Israel has an independent justice. But an independent justice is not an all-powerful justice," Netanyahu said.
