(ANSA) - PARIS, 03 APR - The French president, Emmanuel Macron, wants a draft law on the end of life "by the end of summer 2023".
Speaking before the National Convention on the end of life, Macron also promoted a "national ten-year plan for pain relief and palliative care".
A plan, guarantees the leader of the Elysée, which will be accompanied by the "necessary investments".
"The state has an obligation to achieve results", continued Macron, insisting on the need to guarantee "effective and universal access to end-of-life care".
After bringing together a certain number of Frenchmen drawn by lot over several months, a Citizens' Convention declared itself mainly in favor of the "
