(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, APRIL 11 - Donald Trump returns to New York on Thursday to face another legal battle, this time in the context of the civil suit filed by Attorney General Letitia James against the former president, his children and the Trump Organization.

In the $250 million proceeding, the prosecution charges the tycoon's family with involvement in a decades-old scam to manipulate the value of assets in order to have better conditions with banks and insurance companies.
It is likely that Trump will appeal the fifth amendment, the right to remain silent, as he did last August when he appeared in court on the same lawsuit and refused to answer more than 400 questions.
