The Istanbul police viewed footage from the internal cameras of the hotel where the 18-year-old volleyball player from Novara's Igor Gorgonzola Julia Ituma was staying, in the residential district of Uskudar on the Asian side of Istanbul.
In the video, published by Hurryet's website, the young athlete can be seen leaving her room to talk about her on the phone.
She then closes the conversation, walks slowly down the corridor, comes back, sits on the floor and stays for a long time with his back leaning against the wall of her room, his head on her knees.
Finally she gets up, in a sweatshirt and dark shorts, her sports shoes on her feet, still holding her cell phone in her hand, enters her room while the other lights behind her in the corridor go out.
Turkish investigators also saw the camera footage showing the facade of the hotel where Julia was staying and confirmed that the girl died after falling from the sixth floor window of the hotel, hitting the external awnings.
