Giovannino Pinna, one of the two divers from Sassari who have been missing since yesterday evening in the sea of the Gulf of Asinara, was found alive a few minutes ago on the coast of Marritza, in Marina di Sorso.

The diver, according to reports from the carabinieri of the Sorso station, who rushed to the scene, is in good health despite the many hours spent in the water.

He told the rescuers that he had been dragged there, more than 10 kilometers from the point where yesterday evening, just before 7 pm, the boat on which he was together with his cousin, Davide Calvia, still missing, had sunk.

The search for the two divers had been suspended this afternoon at 4 pm by the Coast Guard because there is a storm alert in north-west Sardinia with strong winds and rough seas.
