(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 14 - Julia Ituma had told her teammates and the coach that she was unwell and wrote 'goodbye' in the team's WhatsApp group before finishing down from the sixth floor of her room in the Istanbul hotel.
This was reported by the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet which reconstructs the last evening of the Italian volleyball player.
Her roommate, the Spanish Lucia Varela Gomez, declared: "We spoke until 1.30. Then I slept. I was informed that she had fallen in the morning".
