(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 14 - The national eight-hour strike, from 9.00 to 17.00, by Trenitalia personnel has ended.
Participation was "very high", an average of 80% in all Trenitalia companies (train crews, operational sales staff, ticket office and assistance staff and offices), with peaks of 100% among the workers in the workshops.
The unions report it.
The protest involved Frecce, Intercity and regional trains.
There were also some workers' garrisons: one in Milan Central Station and another in the square in front of the Bologna station.
