It is a nice net that the agents of the Narcotics and Underground Economy Unit of the Departmental Security of the Alpes-Maritimes carried out this week, after a month of investigation.

In a surprisingly short period of time, the investigators managed to dismantle an entire drug network that was evolving between Nice and the Paris region.

A preliminary investigation was opened in early April with the identification of the alleged network head.

Living in Île-de-France and well known to the police, the latter was then identified as being on the run following a conviction for similar acts.

Investigations quickly established that he had embarked on a well-established drug delivery system.

It was established that a second individual, as well as the companion of the main author, carried out the supply of the delivery men and collected the money for the various rounds at the end of the day.

Searches conducted in the wake led to the discovery and seizure of 61 kilos of cannabis resin, 7.5 kilos of cannabis herb, 550 grams of cannabis oil and 3200 euros in cash.

Two automatic pistols and three vehicles used for deliveries were also seized by investigators.

The hearings of the six arrested are still in progress and the investigations are continuing, in particular with the aim of tracing the chain to the drug supplier.
