(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 03 - The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces that in April 2023 the balance of the state sector closed, on a provisional basis, with a requirement of 11,700 million.
The month of April 2022 had closed with a surplus of 6,047 million.
The current balance was affected by the increase in payments, largely attributable to social security expenditure, due to the disbursement of the single check and the revaluation of pensions.
