Usa: discovered 2 10-year-old children who worked at McDonald's

In Kentucky, unpaid, sometimes until 2 am (ANSA)    A US Department of Labor investigation has found that two 10-year-old boys work at a McDonald's in Kentucky unpaid, sometimes until 2 in the morning. The Guardian reports it. The investigation also found that three of the fast food chain's franchises in four states employed a total of 305 minors who worked longer than the legally permitted hours performing jobs prohibited for people their age.

The investigation also found that three of the fast food chain's franchises in four states employed a total of 305 minors who worked longer than the legally permitted hours performing jobs prohibited for people their age.



    The Labor Department investigation uncovered child labor violations at three McDonald's locations in Kentucky.



    According to the Guardian, the three licensed venues named in the survey own a total of 62 locations in Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland and Ohio.

Civil penalties of more than $200,000 were ordered for the violations.
