FSI reimburses those who traveled yesterday more than 2 hours late, due to the breakdown in Rome which caused serious traffic problems (ANSA)

Traffic has returned to normal on the country's railway network, after the failure of the electricity supply line which yesterday brought inconvenience, delays of up to six hours and - in some cases - cancellations for dozens of trains, including Intercity, regional and high-speed trains.

For passengers who have traveled on trains that have been delayed two hours or more, the Italian State Railways has ordered the full refund of the ticket.

The fault, detected yesterday morning at 9.30, occurred when an Intercity train was passing, when the pantograph came into contact with the power supply line between Rome Tiburtina and Settebagni.
