STORY - From 1986 to 1992, Lorenza d'Alessandro and Giorgio Capriotti, together with other young Italian colleagues, participated in the project to restore the murals of Nefertari's tomb. Here they tell this incredible adventure.

Lorenza D'Alessandro and Giorgio Capriotti taught restoration at the University of Tuscia in Viterbo and at Trinity College in Rome, and were collaborators with the Fabrique de Saint-Pierre. They restored the tomb of Nefertari and the tomb of Amenhotep III in Luxor, the necropolis of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, the Carracci Gallery, Bernini's altar in the Church of St. Andrew of the Quirinal, the Clementine Chapel, the Casina of PiusIV in the Vatican...
