Fire on the tracks: Fire and rescue officials reported Monday morning that a large fire broke out on the side of the railway tracks near the Petah Tikva Segula station. According to them, the station's firefighters are currently operating in the area of Segula Junction, with trees and weeds burning.

Israel Railways reports that due to the location of the fire and under the instructions of the firefighting authorities, train traffic at all the Sharon Ring stations: Ra'anana, Hod Hasharon, Kfar Saba Nordau, Rosh HaAyin North, Petah Tikva and Bnei Brak, was temporarily halted. The Fire and Rescue Department called to the scene consists of 16 crews and are working to contain the front of the fire that is spreading under the cover of strong winds.

Reshef Yossi Kalbo, spokesman for the Petah Tikva Regional Station, said planes were assisting the crews and that control of the fire had not yet been achieved. Meanwhile, Route 40 from Segula Junction to Yarkonim Junction was blocked to traffic.
