This coming Yom Kippur, Israel will mark 50 years since the war that changed the face of the country in almost every possible aspect: social, political, military, economic and cultural.
To mark the anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, a special souvenir supplement will be attached to the newspaper Israel Hayom, with special articles with the people who were there, stories about those who are gone, and thoughts about what has happened to us since then - for better or for worse. As part of the supplement – and also on the various digital platforms of the newspaper – we will return to the small and large stories of our readers in a special project, which includes photos from your private albums.

You are invited to send a photo or video that represents the war through your eyes, those that have a special story from those days behind it, accompanied by a short text (up to 200 words).
The photos, stories and videos can be sent to the special email box, along with your name, place of residence and contact phone number.
