Just this month, it was reported that the wife of Palestinian prisoner from the Gaza Strip, Ahmed Shamali, revealed that she gave birth to two sets of twins using smuggled sperm.

During the release of an administrative-security detainee from Bisser Ramon, unit guards and Nachshon fighters identified a container containing an unidentified liquid found in the detainee's clothes. Apparently, the detainee worked to smuggle the sperm of another prisoner, who is staying in the detention facility, out of the prison walls.

After intelligence activity, the prisoner who transferred the bottle of liquid to the detainee was located and placed in solitary confinement, regarding the detainee in whose possession the liquid was found, detained and transferred for interrogation and questioning by the Israel Police.

The IPS said: "Any attempt to smuggle prohibited substances in and out of the prison will be dealt with criminally and disciplinarily."
