Thursday, June 22 Pap Ndiaye announced a doubling, from 2024, of the hourly volume devoted to moral and civic education in middle school (one hour per week instead of thirty minutes) and a redesign of the programs around three poles: "transmission of the values of the Republic", "challenges of the ecological transition and eco-citizenship" and "media and information literacy". This roadmap is in line with the proposals of the National Council for Refoundation and recent statements by Elisabeth Borne.
