Video: A knife-wielding man tried to rob a pizza shop in the south and fled after the seller threatened him with a tuna (security cameras)
A masked man tried to rob at gunpoint with a grocery knife - and fled when the salesman threatened to throw cans at him. The attempted robbery, which was documented by security cameras, took place Wednesday afternoon in Ofakim. The man went to one of the shops on the city's main street and threatened the seller with a knife, in front of a customer, in order to rob the supermarket's cash register.
The seller behaved coolly, and came up with a creative solution that scared the robber away: threatened to throw cans at him. "The employee called me and called me back urgently because they were trying to rob the supermarket," the owner said. "He told me that the robber threatened him with a knife and hit the cash register, but when he threatened him with throwing cans, he ran away."
